Learning German in Leipzig
Being able to speak German is an essential requirement for successful integration. If you want to learn German, there are numerous different ways of doing so in Leipzig.
Now that the Immigration Act has taken effect, a large number of new immigrants have a right to an integration course (German and orientation course). If places are available, other foreign nationals can also be allowed to attend an integration course.
General information on integration courses in different languages is available on the website of the German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees [Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge].
