Saxon Commuter Network
Over 50% of the residents of the Free State of Saxony commute daily with an auto to their place of employment. Because of this, the Saxonian energy agency SAENA GmbH initiated the state-wide model project "Saxon Commuter Network". The project's aim is the establishment of regular carpooling amongst commuters, thereby helping to reduce emissions. The commuter network can be found at: www.pendlerservice.de.
